A pain from somewhere under the ribs
It makes one weep, ponder and crib
A pain that’s pulling us apart
Oh this pain doesn’t even spare the heart
With cheeks drenched in tears
Hoping for a patient ear
To pour out the heart and mind
Share the pain and get peace of mind
The agony unshared gets unable to bear
Makes one feel that no one in this world cares
All are so consumed by them self
Nobody bothers if they can be of some help
A helping hand, a word of care
A loving glance ensuring, for you, I’m there!
A friend, to comfort and hold tight
Who, for you, will even with the world fight!
Loneliness, darkness and emptiness
Is filling life with a feeling of worthlessness
This pain is increasing day by day
Making it impossible to stay
But hold on to the ray of hope
With it, any problem you can cope
Remember that it’s just a phase
And will soon pass to bring in brighter days!
