Superstition.

If Friday, 13th equates to bad luck for you

And a black cat crossing your path adds up to your blues

If misfortune twice in a row makes you anticipate the third

And a broken mirror bringing 7 years of bad luck is ensured

Then ‘touch wood’, keep ‘fingers crossed’& get a ‘four leaf clover’ to bid ill-times adieu!

Thank you for reading!

This poetry is in response to the Limerick Poetry Challenge. It is conducted by Rashmi, who has a wonderful blog called Mind And Life Matters.
