I’m here for a reason!

Come on my heart, an audience waits to hear what you have been guarding within,

The world eagerly awaits to read all that you have written!

It wants to know your thoughts, your feelings and from where you hail,

It wants to hear your mind, your voice and know your unique tale!

It wants you to share your experiences, likes and dislikes,

And discover if world’s and your emotions and expectations are alike!

How has your journey been so far?

Did you walk along or come by car?

Were there ups and downs on your way?

Did the journey make you sad or gay?

Did you face many twists and turns?

Were you asleep throughout or did you learn?

Were the ups as beautiful and marvelous as the Himalayan peak?

In the downs, serenity and calmness of the deep vast oceans did you seek?

Or did the ups horrify you like the volcanic eruption from the mountain top?

Were the downs like the turbulent sea during storms that one cannot stop?

Were you mesmerized by the beauty of the Himalayas or did the terrifying volcano make you run a race?

Did the sea give you peace and relax your heart or did it instead increase your heart’s pace?

No matter what your story is, it is sure to teach you valuable lessons,

These lessons are taught one by one, throughout life, in tiny sessions.

Lessons that will equip you for life; no matter come what may!

Lessons that will let one march ahead with confidence in night and day!

One will learn that beauty must be appreciated and experienced no matter what,

As the very next moment is uncertain and absolutely beyond thought!

Hard times must be dealt with wisdom and patience with the knowledge that it will pass in sometime,

One must realize it is only a class for us to learn our lesson and it can’t last a lifetime!

Thank you for reading!

  1. Thank you for reading my post. I like how you used poetry to express how you feel and tell a story at the same time!
There are so many writers taking this course (really we are all writers if we’re blogging), but there are a few who love creative writing so it will be great to learn from and support each other. Good luck with Blogging 101:)
